What the site offers
Tapmetry provides free tests that run in your browser and articles that explain them. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes, for example to check a device before buying it or to document a defect for a warranty claim.
Results are informational
The tests show you what your device does; they do not certify it. A test can be affected by your browser, your operating system, a screen filter, a protective film or a cable. No harm by design
The tests use only standard web features and do not write anything to your hardware. Displaying static colours for a few minutes is normal use for any screen. On OLED panels, avoid leaving a bright static image on for hours.
