This policy explains what data Tapmetry (tapmetry.com) handles and why. The short version: the tests run on your device, nothing you test is sent to us, and we keep as little as possible.
The tests
Every test on this site runs inside your browser. Colours, touch events, audio, video and keyboard input are processed on your device and never transmitted. The site has no server that could receive them. When a test needs your microphone or camera, your browser asks for permission; the stream is shown to you locally and discarded when you leave the page. Recordings and snapshots you make stay on your device unless you choose to save or share them yourself.
Some tests remember your best result in your browser's local storage so you can compare later, and the site remembers there that you closed the language suggestion bar. That data never leaves your browser and you can clear it through your browser settings.
Hosting and traffic statistics
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request headers to deliver the page and to protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device and does not track you across sites. The statistics are aggregated and anonymous.
Advertising
When advertising is enabled, ads below the tests are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland you are asked for consent first and can change your choice at any time from the cookie policy page. You can also opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings. Ads are never placed on the test itself.

If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply to you. They are not added to any list and not shared.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion. Because the site stores no accounts and no test data, the answer is almost always "none". Write to hello@tapmetry.com for any request.
Changes
This policy changes when the site changes. The date at the bottom of the page shows the last update.
